The City of Perryton is a Type A General Law City, operating within the limitations of the statutes of the State of Texas. Under a Council/City Manager Form of Government. A Mayor and five Council Members are elected at large to establish policy and guide the community, while the City Manager is appointed by the Council to oversee the day to day operations.
